First broadcast on Channel 4 in 2001, Looking after the Penneys is a soap-style drama series for 11 – 16 year olds examining personal finance issues such as part-time jobs, student debt, credit card loans, buying a car, saving and budgeting. These subjects are explored through the experiences of different members of the Penney family.

Looking After The Penneys is part of the Off Limits strand of Secondary PSHE programmes and is designed for use in lessons on Financial Capability.
